„Mörderische“ Suche und vieles mehr - Literatur (Frau Haffer)

English literature class

The English literature class was nearly the same as the German one. But the main differences were that it was in English and our projects were a bit different. Our teacher is Ms. Haffer and we started the class with a project where we learned how to act out different emotions. After that we had some more projects. In one of them we made our own film or audio book based on our own story which we had written before. The ideas came from objects that were in a 'mystery box'. We also did some
improvisation practice and learned about the "Yes and" and the "Don't block" rules. Beside that it is important to imagine props (invisible props) and to use the ones given to you by the partner. If you are interested in acting, to make your own film or you want to learn something new as 'improvisation', which you can also use in your daily life, you should join the English literature class. We did some hard work during the year, but we always had a lot of fun and laughed a lot, too. When we had to think about something we could present at KUMULI night we had the idea to combine all the things we did during the last year. So we started to write a story, formed it into a script and finally acted it out.
You're going to see a theater play which is about a crime in a cafe. But we don't know who the murderer is yet. Maybe you can help us figure it out?
